SEMINAR 2020/2021

BQSG 2020 Seminar – Postponement and Revised Dates

Further to the postponement announcement in the e-newsletter of 12th June, I can now inform you that we plan to hold the 2021 BQSG Seminar, in Darlington, from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th October 2021. Please note these dates in your diary – and keep them free!

Booking for the Seminar will not re-open until a-date-to-be-advised in 2021. As previously stated (see below), the option for a full refund will continue to apply until we re-open booking.

Any queries, please contact me at seminar_bqsg@quiltersguild.org.uk. Best wishes,

Laura Cochran - Seminar Organiser

BQSG 2020 Seminar

23 – 25 October 2020

  We have reached the point in our preparations for this year’s Seminar when it is apparent that we cannot proceed as planned.

The 2020 Seminar in Darlington was already very well subscribed by early March, so we intend to push our plans for 2020 forward to 2021.  This is therefore a notification of POSTPONEMENT rather than cancellation.

Once businesses re-open and staff return from furlough we will aim to rearrange our seminar for October 2021 and BQSG members will be advised when the information is available.

In the meantime a full refund is available to any signed-up participant on request.  We are happy to retain the funds of those who would like us to hold them in anticipation of Seminar 2021. The option for a full refund will continue to apply until we announce the revised plans for Seminar 2021 and re-open booking.

The postponement also applies to the New Acquisitions study session at York on Thursday 22nd, as well as to the study sessions at Bowes Museum on Friday 23rd and the seminar at Blackwell Grange Hotel, 23rd to 25th October.

If you wish a refund, please write to me at seminar_bqsg@quiltersguild.org.uk (Note the underscore!)  Refunds will be made by cheque, unless you request a bank transfer, and will be posted to the address provided on your seminar application form, unless you advise me differently.

If requesting a bank transfer, please provide the following information:

1.  The exact name on the account to which the payment is to be directed;

2.  The name of the bank;

3.  Bank sort code;

4.  Your account number.

Best wishes,

Laura Cochran
