Love to do thinking outside the box work, using a wide variety of techniques that will suit the current work in progress.

I have been doing a daily beading project and am heading towards the end of the 6th year.
I sew wearable art, some of which has been part of the Fashion Show at the Festival of Quilts. One of my ensembles were shown in each of the last 2 years of the Bernina Fashion Show in the IQA shows in America, premiering in Houston.
My textile art has been exhibited in countries throughout Europe, America and including some of the Middle Asian "Stan" countries. I was included in Art Quilt exhibits in the 6th European Quilt Triennial, and in The Quilter's Hall of Fame in America.
I was very privileged to be juried into the Fine Arts Quilts Masters exhibition at Festival of Quilts 2018.

I recently stepped down after 10 years as co-ordinator of Thames Valley Contemporary Textiles. We meet 4x a year in Bracknell.January, May, September and November - usually the 3rd Saturday of the month. 11am-4pm. £10 for the day. A wide variety of topics and you don't have to be a member of any other groups. Anyone welcome.
I am continuing on the committee as Programme Secretary.

I am qualified to teach City and Guilds Fashion and Dressmaking and taught for several years in Reading. I teach some Machine Embroidery leisure classes at Lady Sew and Sew.
I run a monthly sewing group - Offcuts in Bracknell, where people can bring their projects, machines, quilts to sandwich, knitting, dressmaking, whatever. Last Saturday of the month - 1-6:30pm. £5.

I am a member of SAQA, CQ, Stretching Art and Tradition, and a few other groups online and off.

What else would you like to know? ;-)
