Janet Hazelton

I recently completed my allotted three years as Chair of the Oxford Quilt Group which was founded in 1981.
I have been doing patchwork and quilting since starting in North Carolina in the late 1970s,
and joined the OQG when we moved back to England from Holland in the 1990s. When we lived in Holland, in The Hague, I taught beginners patchwork at the British Womens Club, and also in a shop in Voorburg - Josephines - for about three years.
I love sampler quilts, and am patiently trying to finish some of the UFOs in my cupboard, as well as
teaching myself to machine quilt. Most of my output heretofore has been hand-quilted, hence the backlog of tops.
