This event takes place on 28th March 2015 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and will take place at The Quilt Museum, St Anthonys Hall, Peasholme Green, York YO1 7PW. It is a Guild event being organised by BQSG.

Recent Acquistions to the Quilters’ Guild collection

Saturday 28th March 2015: 1.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.

The Quilt Museum, York

This afternoon visit will give BQSG members time to view some of the recent acquisitions made to the Quilters’ Guild collection. Heather Audin, the curator, will be leading this session.We will benefit from her expertise and she will be able to give us valuable insight into the history  and provenance of these pieces. It may encourage some of you to consider some research into what you are able to study during the visit.

There will be time for you to see the current exhibition in the morning (fee payable), and there are facilties for you to make a drink and eat a packed lunch at the Quilt Museum, or there are cafés nearby.
